The Harlequin Index is presented in eleven sections, listed at the left.
Here are the first 500 books from Canada’s most successful publisher – Harlequin. Overlapping for three years with Collins’s White Circle Pocket Library imprint (spring 1949 to spring 1952) the 500th issue was published in early 1960. Tens of thousands of books later Harlequin is the number one romance book publisher in the world. But, as you’ll see, the early books were anything but romantic. - Jim
