Not Quite Twins

Pulps

Click the picture and read its web address to determine publisher and printing number. It may be a LONG address, but the book's number will be all the way at the end (just before the ".jpg")

Below, you will find some "twins" that didn't quite fit the definition of the word. In a few cases, there were pictures used from the same photo-shoot (same model & outfit, but different poses).  Sometimes, reprints changed the cover art slightly, but kept everything else the same. Sometimes, it was obvious that an artist had been commissioned to copy a cover, rather than paint an original. For the pulp magazines, it was obvious that some poses and situations on covers were deemed popular marketing gimmicks, and so they were copied by other artists.

Unless otherwise stated, the "matches" were identified by Bob Gaines.
