Corgi printed its first paperback in 1953, and has remained a major publisher in the UK ever since. It produced the first paperback versions of Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita and Joseph Heller's Catch 22. Today, it is a label of Penguin/Random House UK, which is a division of Transworld Publications.
