This was Pocket Book's label for printing books in the lucrative market for non-fiction, classic fiction and cheap companion text books for high schools and colleges. It competed with New American Library's Mentor Books.
The Collateral Classics Series and the Reader's Enrichment Series are included after the "W-series" on the second page.
