Digests

NOTE: Some of the scans shown on this page are improvements over covers that are already in the BookScans database.

The images in the Updates are computer-sorted. I will put them all in proper sequence in their respective "Publishers' Folders" on the site. But here, for example, all of the Gold Medal "s" books will come after the "g" and "k" books, etc., rather than in strict order of publication (numerically).

NOTE: There is no mention of a publisher or date in the Fawcett book. I have assumed the publisher based on the content. It is about the size of a Century digest (very slightly smaller than most digest-sized books).

The  Pocket Book is large (7X9 inches), with pulp pages printed in B&W. It is very reminiscent of a child's coloring book. Cover by Frank Frazetta. Published in 1950 with a $1.00 cover price.
