Science Fiction Handbook for Readers and Writers

by George S. Elrick

Chicago Review Press, Inc., Chicago, IL. 1978. Trade paperback. 315 pages. (6¼ X 9¼). This book is not even mentioned by Michael Burgess in his book on bibliographies. The content is very similar to the one by Roberta Rogow entitled FutureSpeak. It’s a kind of dictionary of short sentences and paragraphs of terms that are usually associated with science fiction. A number of the line drawings are tracings of well-known photos of scenes in motion pictures.
