A how to use this book is included. A checklist of contributors, acknowledgments, checklist of themes is also included. The entries are alphabetical and include many authors and subjects. This encyclopedia has an amazing amount of interesting facts on authors and books. This is a great book just to leaf through and read. There are many photos and cross-references that connect you to other subjects. There was a new edition released in the 1990s.
