Each story or novel is examined in detail; with a word count and the artist who illustrated the story. The original title is listed when different from the printed version. It appears that there were a total of 262 items. The appendices list a number of unpublished stories that were not used. Unknown was apparently the victim of the World War II paper shortages. The remainder of the book has a large number of listings on the stories; disclosing the dates of purchases of the stories and the future reprints they went through. An excellent history and bibliography of an important fantasy magazine.
