This volume was a tribute to Weird Tales and the fact that it was first published fifty years before. There are many articles by Robert Bloch, Manly Wade Wellman, Edmond Hamilton, and others on Weird Tales. A selection of fiction by Robert E. Howard, Carl Jacobi, and H. Warner Munn is reprinted from Weird Tales. A nice tribute to a famous magazine. Much of the material was expanded by the editor into a book called The Weird Tales Story.
