Age of the Unicorn

edited by Michael L. Cook. Evansville, IN. 1979-1980. This is a nicely printed and stapled fanzine. Similar to the magazine Xenophile, in that it accepted ads. Unicorn eventually combined with The Science-Fiction Collector. Unicorn itself was combined with Fantasy Mongers. There were many fine articles by Bernard A. Drew, Tom Johnson, Darrell Schweitzer, Nick Carr, Will Murray, and Michael Avallone. Just about all of the fields were covered, including pulps, mysteries, fantasy, science fiction, etc. There are some very interesting articles along with reproductions of magazine and paperback covers.  Recommended, if you can find copies.
