As that third subtitle suggests, Dent was best known for novels published in Doc Savage Magazine, which he penned under the name Kenneth Robeson (Dent is credited with 159 of the 179 Doc Savage novels). Before that, however, he worked for other pulp magazines. The six reprinted here were "weird menace" novels from Ten Detective Aces and its follow-on publication Detective-Dragnet Magazine.
