The tales were by Jack Williamson, Hugh B. Cave, Clark Ashton Smith, Robert E. Howard, and Edmond Hamilton. Strange Tales was an early competitor of Weird Tales, but it only lasted for about a year and a half. The stories are reprinted in facsimile and contain the original artwork.
