Some of the material is reprint, but much is newly written items by Van Hise. Most of the material is by Will Murray and Van Hise. You will find interesting essays on The Shadow, Captain Satan, The Spider, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, Margaret Brundage, The Black Hood, Doc Savage, Jimmy Christopher, and several other writers and characters. There are many illustrations from the pulps. Recommended for all pulp fans.
