This fine collection has stories by Horace McCoy, Raymond Chandler, Cornell Woolrich, Carroll John Daly, Erle Stanley Gardner, Frederick Nebel, and many others. The editor has some very interesting introductions to each of the stories. Most of the stories originally appeared in Black Mask Magazine and are very good.
