Killer's Caress

by Cary Moran

Edited by  Tom Roberts. Black Dog Books, Normal, IL, 2010. Trade-sized paperback 138 pages.

It took me awhile to figure this out. "Cary Moran" was a pseudonym for an as-yet unknown author who wrote for the Spicy series of pulp magazines. In 1936, whoever he/she was decide to write a full-length novel, using "Moran's" most famous story character, gossip columnist Johnny Harding. It was published in book format by Valhalla Press in 1936. This book republishes that novel.
