Duende

North Quincy, MA. 1975-1977. Two issues were published. A very nicely produced publication dedicated to pulp magazines. In an article, Murray explains the meaning of the word “duende.” Most of the first issue consisted of Murray’s article on Lester Dent’s other detectives and an interview by Murray with Graves Gladney. It appears that all of the material was written by Will Murray and he does a good job. The second issue was even better with an article on Doc Savage’s other authors. Frank Hamilton has a long interview with Walter Gibson about the Shadow, and Jim Steranko also contributed many comments and questions. Recommended.
