The author provides a short introduction and guide to using the book, and gets right down to showing the many magazine listings. Unlike most price guides in the past, Henkel covers many magazines that you might not normally see. There are sections on monster mags, adult, men’s adventure, pulp, current celebrity publications, and the usual listings for TV Guide and Life. He shows the importance of certain issues by listing certain interesting contents and has many magazine cover photos as examples. There is a short color section of covers in the middle. This one should be updated and expanded.
