Over My Dead Body

Chronicle Books, 1994. Over-sized paperback, 108 pages. Big, slick, colorful pages illustrate The Sensational Age of the American Paperback: 1945-1955. "Sensational" is the key word in this book, with often outrageous cover art illustrating books written by many favorite authors, some "at the low points in their careers." A pretty nice volume that puts into words and pictures the reasons most collectors are so enthusiastic about these books.
