Albert, Ed Gorman, Charles Williams, Donald Hamilton, Peter Rabe, Warren Murphy, and Donald Pendleton and the other writers of the Executioner Series. Each chapter was written by a renown critic or author. For example, the chapter on Peter Rabe was written by Donald Westlake. Often, various titles are critiqued separately. I found many of the facts surprising and fascinating.
