Official Price Guide for Paperbacks
By Jon Warren
1991, House of Collectibles. Trade sized paperback. 934 pages. A thin section of color covers. B&W illustrations scattered throughout. This is probably the best price guide published, but it has one drawback: its size. It should be twice as large and half as thick. The book is ungainly, and it's very easy to lose your place in it. Due to its size, if you use it over time, expect it to develop a bowed spine. Having said that, I have to admit its laid out better than Hancer's. The entries include a printing date, and often the name of the cover illustrator. A vital part of a collector's inventory.
