Books Are Everything
An early vintage paperback fanzine produced in the late 80's and early 90's. The magazines were of cheap construction, and seemed to come from a combination of several sources (some pages were typed and reproduced, some were copied from other publications, etc). They were LARGE, 8½ X 11, and ranged from about 60 to 90 pages. Cover art was reproduced in B&W throughout, and due to its large size, the illustrations were really very well presented. The magazine was produced by R.C. Holland, who did many of the articles. You'll also find interviews with authors, publishers and industry insiders, as well as in-depth articles by many experts in the field. The greatest features were "checklists" of various kinds, such as all paperbacks from famous authors, illustrators, or publishers. There were at least a couple of these lists in every issue.
