The arrangement is alphabetically by author and then by title. Each title receives five or six lines of comment with a series of daggers to show value, with one dagger the lowest and five daggers being the best for a classic novel. There are four sections of reviews: The American Mystery, The English Mystery, The Thriller, and The Police Procedural. The author usually has good judgment, so buy a copy if can find it.
