Hoch was a very prolific short story writer and, as of a date in 1991, had a story in every issue of Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine since May 1973. It covers all of his many series, characters, and pseudonyms. Every story or book has a complete reprinting history. His stories are covered in just about every category. A good job by the Moffats and Nevins.
