Books: From Writer to Reader

by Howard Greenfeld

Crown, 1989. Oversized paperback, 197 pages. This book discusses what happens to a book once it leaves the author. There's a little bit of history, but for the most part, this is about the complete modern bookmaking process. From author to agent, to editor, to designer, to layout man, to proofreader, to publisher, to printer, to binder, this book doesn't seem to leave out any of the key players. Fully illustrated.
