Basic Bookbinding
by A.W. Lewis
Dover Publications, New York, 1957. Trade-sized paperback, 144 pages (plus a dozen-page catalog of Dover Books at the end). You might not think books about bookbinding belong in our "Library," but the subject is not only fascinating, but rife with terminology necessary for anyone interested in books in general. They come in handy for repair, rebinding, or just learning what the mechanics of books is all about. Also, books on the subject are themselves collectible, and can sometimes be quite valuable.
