Six-page introduction discusses the pulp magazines and artists who illustrated the covers. The rest of the book is art only ... full page copies of original cover art ... not cover reproductions, but the art itself. The only writing after the intro is the name of each artist alongside the illustration. Norman Saunders, Harry Fisk, George Rozen, George Gross, Hugh Ward, and dozens of others.

Quite frankly, it is VERY well done. I most highly recommend this book.
