Some of the photos and other matter, appears in Bruccoli’s book, Hardboiled Mystery Writers. Lots of paperback covers, pictures of manuscripts, photos of Millar and his friends. Bruccoli does a good job analyzing the characters and writings of Kenneth Millar (Ross Macdonald). The notes section gives a lot of data that Bruccoli used to write the book. A bibliography is provided of Macdonald’s output. There is an index.
