Belarski: Pulp Art Masters

by John P. Gunnison Adventure House, Silver Spring, Maryland. Oversized paperback, 112 pages. Color illustrations throughout. Very little biographical information on Rudolph Belarski's life here, but there are a few pages about his professional experience as he moved from his pre-war art (some of which was WWI art on magazines such as Aces and Wings) to his famous post-war detective magazines, WWII art, westerns, and sports magazine covers. 95% of the book is duplicated cover art, often four or five covers per page. Each cover has been faithfully copied and annotated. Many of Belarski's pulp magazine covers were done for "Thrilling Publications," which was the same publisher that produced Popular Library paperbacks. I've copied several covers from this book to put in my "Twins" folder, which shows duplicate cover art. Adventure House is a Pulp Magazine reproduction publisher. You can order this book through their web site. Follow the link on my "Links" page.
