illustrated book outlining the work of one of the greatest paperback
illustrators of all time. It includes reproductions of hundreds of Avati's
original paintings, the covers they illustrated, and often Avati's preliminary
B&W photos, sketches and prelim paintings.
The biographical writing is well done and
interesting. And every single page catches the eye and holds the reader's
interest. An excellent volume.
