Over the years Asimov wrote three volumes of autobiography and his wife Janet was asked to bring these writings into a more condensed form for republication. An epilogue is provided explaining how Isaac died. The appendices have a final essay by Isaac and Janet, Isaac’s favorite story, “The Last Question,” and a bibliography of the works of Isaac Asimov.
