The Strange Connection between Corinth and Regency:
Well ... there wasn't any. Regency Books were published in Evanston, IL, and Corinth Books were printed in San Diego, CA. Corinth was a product of William Hamling and Earl Kemp, who published the various Greenleaf labels. The confusion comes about with several of the Corinth covers that identify themselves as "A Regency Suspense Novel." (Most of these books were reprints of stories and novelettes that were originally seen in pulp magazines, and a lot of the covers were by Robert Bonfils.) Because "Regency" was the only name on the cover, contributors to this website kept sending scans of them to me as "Regency Books," and I got them hopelessly messed up. Sorry about that. (And thanks to Bob Gaines for straightening it out for me.)
All of those "Regency Suspense Novels" have been moved to the "Corinth" page of this section.
