The Case of the Perjured Parrot

What we're concerned with here is the really weird book in the center of the three above. The image was donated by my good friend Gunnar Olsen, a collector living in Denmark. The first image is of the 1st printing of Pocket Book 378 (which was published in 1947). The center image is a 25¢ Pocket Book, but its title verso identifies it as a "1st Cardinal Printing, November, 1959." The REAL Cardinal book is designated C379 (and the book above on the right is ALSO a stated 1st printing, 1959)!
